VM Creation

Adding a Virtual Machine on Xen or VMware Hypervisor

Select Xen/VMware hypervisor Virtual Machine.

Click on Add Rapid Machine and Select Zone & Network.

Zone: You can create Virtual Machines in any of the three data centers situated in Karachi and Lahore.

Network: All Virtual Machines will be added to the default network-tier. You can also add a tier to the VPC. There is another procedure for VPC creation

Select the Operating System.

Select a Template as per your requirement from the options available.
Select a Service Offering from the dropdown menu.
Name the Machine and assign it to a group. You can create a new Group or choose an existing Group. To add a Virtual Machine to an existing group, the same naming conventions must be followed
Review the summary of the Rapid Machine being created and click on Submit to proceed.
A pop-up will appear to show that your Job has been queued.
Refresh the Portal and the VM would have been deployed
VM password can be viewed directly from the portal in Credentials section of "Message Center" on top right corner. Expand green plus icon to see password.

NOTE: After a few minutes you will also receive notification on registered email informing regarding the new Virtual Machine creation.
